When a product is ordered which is to to be fulfilled using the Vendor option, the email notification and order detail web page generated does not include the part number, only the product name. This means the vendor does not receive the specific SKU (part number) to pick and pack. This is essential piece of information that is missing.

The part number should appear on all order emails whether the vendor option is use or not. That is probably the most important piece of information if the item is being fulfilled by inventory. I can't believe this is not even an option to add to the email customization through a ##PART_NUMBER## tag. This needs to be added!!
