add a quick order view for ordering multiple items at once

One of our current customers on a different platform that we are moving away from orders many quantities of many items from inventory at the same time. So instead of going into each product, setting a quantity and adding to cart, they can add the qty or choose the dropdown from a list of products all on the same page and then check out with many less clicks. I see how you can use kitting for this, but it is clunky and the Kit Qty will most definitely confuse the user.
