There is no way to only show the selected kit components in both customer checkout and in the pick list for fulfillment/shipping. Having all components listed when some have a 0 qty is confusing. I see a shipping/kitting nightmare waiting to happen.
The kitting functionality needs a lot more work, and since there is no way to turn on showing all the components showing in customer checkout or on the order reports, My clients were very disappointed in this feature and its basically pointless to offer kitting to any clients.
Show the packing slip/job detail tickets with 0 qty on items is confusing and causes room for error on fulfilment of the kit. If these reports/files could read only the items that are ordered with a value of 1 or more, that would be more ideal! I believe the emails confirmations are set up this way?
