Idea is that a price engine could calculate a price, based on the products in the shopping chart.
If a customer orders 3 different posters, A + B + C, each poster in 100 copies, at a price of 1 per copy.
Then to up sell the number of posters, a discount should be given, for ordering more of same types of products, so that the total price for A + B + C (300 posters) should be 250,- in stead of 300,-
But the discount is based on the products in the shopping chart, and not each product-engine.
And a way to show the discount, like "if you order 50 more posters, you will get all for ..." and all based on shopping chart, and not based by promo or discount codes.
have asked for this feature for years! As a business that is doing mostly stationery and business cards via Pressero it is a must to have multiple lot discounts for these products. Currently, we just hide a lot of the pricing and work with the client directly loosing out of the Pressero features and only using it as a glorfied FTP.
Hi Trent ... do you have any news regarding this idea?
Do you know if new checkout process will have any feature like this?
Jesper, We're working on an udpate to the checkout process to make Pressero a bit smoother. by doing this it will allow us to look at the cart area differntly and work for a "cart-level" discount opiton.
