Allow promotion codes to apply to the entire order total

Has anyone had a chance to look at this? We continue to struggle with this issue. Can someone respond with feedback as to whether or not this is something that Aleyant is seriously considering/actively working on? If it is just not going to happen, I need to know so we can explore alternatives. It has gotten to be too much of a hassle to continue to just handle manually.

This continues to be a major pain point for us. We really need this feature, and it does seem like it would be a relatively easy idea to implement. The functionality already exists...this would only be adding two additional options.

Any movement on this one?

Jim, Yes. I want to assure you we are monitoring the idea portal. I still receive emails and notifications on everything that is updated here. I have been a little slow on the draw for replies and comments the past couple of months with my change in position but I’m lining that out going forward. We’re working on a large update for the first part of the year and I think we will be able to work to a resolution on this. I’ll reach out to you outside of this and can give you some context and update before including it here.

Does Aleyant monitor this forum, anymore? This is a MAJOR pain for us. Now, I'm at the point where I am going to have to duplicate an entire store just to deal with this.

Here's the issue at hand:

• Customer has a store where they allow their employees to order corporate branded merchandise.
• Jane Doe logs on and orders some items to pay with their personal credit card, and chooses the free shipping option.
• Our CSR catches the issue and contacts Jane for payment on shipping.
• Jane either decides to pay for shipping, which is a manual credit card process for the CSR, or she decides that she doesn't want to pay for shipping, in which case we have to issue a refund and pay yet another fee.

Now, this is complicated by the fact that our customer wants to pay for the shipping on the promo orders, however, since the code won't apply to both, and Pressero doesn't allow more than one code to be used at checkout, WE are stuck with paying for the shipping out of pocket. We do try to build that cost back in to future jobs, but it simply isn't possible with the number of promo codes that this customer issues to their employees.

This has become a MAJOR pain for us. Is there any indication as to when this may be at least reviewed?
