Giving users the ability to edit quantities in the cart would cut back on a lot of time spent going in and out of the cart to the product page and then back. This would improve the user experience.

I would imagine that it would mirror the quantity selection of the product. I do forget that there are more than one type of pricing calculator sometimes. We tend to use the pricing calculator method, exclusively. We do have some spreadsheet methods, as well, but they behave the same as far as the user is concerned.

If this were possible, how would you prefer the quantity change be reflected within the pricing engines for each product?
And for product engines that have fixed quantities would you prefer a dropdown show on the cart page for each item?
The reason why this has set so long here is because of the complex possibilities on all store fronts with pricing engines. We're planning adding new functionality to the cart page and I don't want that feature to leave this one behind so your input will be very helpful.
