Adding Bin location to inventory Report

As our accounts and warehouse needs grow - do does the need for this reporting.

An Inventory report that reflects all the current fields of the inventory report, that also includes Location or Loctions (we use shelves and pallets for locations so same product can be in multiple areas and Warehouse by Code if possible as there is no place to indicate that currently. We use different warehouses as well. We add this to the end of the name currently but that is becoming very cumbersome. WE NEED THIS REPORT!!!! Please give us an update on this feature.

We would also like to see "location" and possibly a "Description" where products can be listed. We use a lot of warehouse numbers that are attached to the products and the URLs so it would make sense to be able to have accurate inventory reports so that everything can be seen.

As a work around we are adding the location to the end of the name, however that becomes a bit long. The actual column listing the location is Highly preferred!

Pressero fields: Part Number nad Public Part Number are not options in any of the reports. Please add these fields to the Invnetory Report.

I'm going to have our dev team look at this item and provide some analysis on effort. If we have the bandwidth it could be a great improvement for 2022.

We also use the Product's Physical Location, Notes for our Bin locations. And it prints on the pick list, but doesn't show up on any of the other reports. It would be very helpful for checking inventory if we could have the Physical Location print on the reports. As side note, it would seem that the Inventory Physical Location field would be in the Add Inventory section other than the Product section, maybe this would be an easier way to fix this issue and get it on the report. Having this on the report would be very helpful especially in our case where we use multiple Warehouses for different customers.

Thanks Cynthia I will add that to the details but I suspect that we will need to split some of this development by adding the initial change and improve later with bin location being part of integrations.

I'll make note of the workarounds that are being used here and hopefully we can fix that with this feature.

I believe that the original poster is needing the bin location number to show on the Report Writer inventory report. This would be another part of the feature to consider.

It also makes sense that the bin location number should only show on the pick list report and none other.

I agree that there should be a place to indicate the location and/or bin for inventory items.
