The new "Paid" column on the order history is what spurred this idea for me.
We should be able to control this being visible, especially for any B2B site. At the very least this column should go away for the customers who have "view pricing" turned off. A business does not always want every employee knowing what is and is not paid for. Additionally if a site is through a broker, and they handle payment separately from the site, this will always remain as a big red "X" for unpaid, even if they did pay for an order. I can see this causing repeated confusion.
Allowing us the ability to control the order history columns will provide greater flexibility and control over the sites customization.
Having the ability for the PAID status not to be displayed would be great. This would eliminate questions from employees whom order from BTB sites.
I'm just under the impression that anything regarding payment should be hidden if "View Pricing" is set to off. I find pricing is often hidden when it's made for a broker. I like the idea of the Paid column being hidden as well, because it could lead to confusion for these sites in particular.
