We would like to see a new Report Type option for Gift Certificates (GC). This would be simalar to using Order Level reporting only it reports on Gift Certificates Used by order. This would be very helpful for reporting Programs that do not Pre-Pay for Gift Certificates they pay when they are used.
Another option would be to add Gift Certificate information to the Order Level Reports so the report could display any Gift Certificate/s used and the amount used. The only issue I see with this is a user can have multile GC and use them on a single order and how would you report that. With a seperate GC Report it could list each GC Code the order, amount and date that was used for a date range.
This option would be very helpful with an number of our programs.

The lack of reporting on Gift Certificates is frustrating for some clients. From chat 3DE-2DBBC0B9-0B1E, "What is the best way to get reporting on Gift Certificate Use?? The Gift Cert documentation goes through how to create them but not how to report on them. [there is no current reporting for gift certificate usage in report writer] and nothing has come out regarding this. Was there any plan in place or is this just a great tool that can't be used on a large scale as you can not report on it. I have to assume there had to be some thought put into this. Even newer options like Cart Level Discounts can now be reported."
