When an order is placed but payment is not made during the Checkout process, the order goes into Pending to await payment. Sometimes, payment is made later by providing credit card information "offline" (customer calls in, stops by the shop, etc.).
A record of payment can be added after the fact to the order from within the Pressero Admin screen, under Edit Order < Payments tab. However, the actual payment has to be processed separately via the subscriber's chosen integrated payment gateway, such as PayPal or Authorize.net, by visiting that site directly.
The subscriber would like the option to be able to access the payment gateway from the Pressero Admin screen, within the order (e.g., next to the Add Payment Record button, a button saying Process Payment). The payment processor would have to be integrated with and enabled for the site, but it would be like having a shortcut to the credit card dialog box from the back-end, not just the storefront Checkout Page.
The subscriber believes this would be a feature helpful towards making Pressero a more complete solution for both online customers and physically-present customers, without having to visit multiple sites.
