"We have been approached by Avalon/Bristol Pay to add as a Payment Gateway to Pressero. Is anyone else interested in this?
The advantage (for Alliance) is that our members, (104) of them using the PrintSmith Vision MIS system, and the 16 that are integrated with Pressero is that they would be able to consolidate their ecommerce merchant providers and MIS merchant provider into a single provider. Reducing the vendor management of multiple vendors providing the same service. Bristol Pay would also consolidate processing volume from Pressero and combine with their MIS system to offer lower processing prices.
Why Bristol Pay? They have significant advanced services not offered by other providers including online invoice payment where a link can be embedded into an invoice allowing the customer to pay online, getting money faster, and improving cash flow. They have a customer portal that allows a customer to see all their open invoices and pay multiple invoices, again improving workflow. They have scheduling services, and others unusual for a card processor. These are just a few examples of how a vendor can provide better service. They have a long standing reputation of excellent customer service. I personally used them at my Centers 20 years ago because of their service. I can add to the ideas portal, but unless someone is aware of the advantages of using this vendor (who has been around for over 30 years, and providing integration services for PrintSmith for that long a time) other Pressero users will not know the advantage. I would ask if they current list of providers can be reviewed and see if there are some seldom used by your clients to provide opportunities for vendors that are very progressive in their service offerings that have a strong user base.
