Add field to show original order date in cases where an approval/payment is not made immediately

Customers that use an approval process for orders need a method to determine when the order was initially placed. Since the new checkout process was added in 2021, the order date that is shown in reports when editing the order as well as what is in Report Writer no longer reflects the original date the order was placed for all situations.


In cases where the payment is made and the order was approved (or didn't require approval), the order date matches the date the order was placed. In cases where the order waits for approval or if a customer makes payment after the initial order date, the date that is shown is the date it was approved/paid for. The original order date is not indicated anywhere on the order.


I suggest that a new field is added (or an existing one modified) to the order reports and in Report Writer to specifically show the date that the order was first placed. This will be helpful in cases where the approval/payment takes quite some time and customers want to see what date it was originally placed, not just when it was approved.
