I would like to see a way to customize profile fields on the various account pages. Right now, it flows however it flows. Additionally, if you add custom fields, they appear in a new section labeled "Additional Information".
This is not very pleasing, and it can lead to some confusion. Specifically, I had to create custom fields for Phone Extension and Direct for a new customer. The Extension actually belongs to the Phone field, and it appears at the bottom in the aforementioned new section. I would prefer it to appear near the phone field for the end-user's clarity.
This ties in to a separate issue I have with profile fields, and that is that if I decide to hide certain field, it only affects the create account page, not the profile page. That makes no sense to me. If I am trying to hide fields, why would I want them to be visible on the profile page?
