We are often asked to stand up a B2B e-commerce store that would contain items produced and/or fulfilled by various vendors.
Often these items would be drop-shipped from the vendor to our customer. It would be helpful to accurately capture a shipping estimate for each item in a given order even if those items are fulfilled from different vendors. For example, we may offer vinyl signs from vendor A and business cards from vendor B.
Ideally our customer could place a single order for signs and business cards and pay the appropriate shipping charges based on shipment from each vendor.
This is an increasingly common request from our customers.

Good news! Changes to allow for setting a specific ship from location for each product will be released tomorrow Aug 14 2025.
Ship form location - Will only show when Will Ship Separately is checked. Shipping estimates for this product are calculated using the site-level ship from location by default. If you want to override the address used to calculate shipping costs for this product select another location. The reason this is tied to Will Ship Separately is because we need to split each product into the multiple shipping locations format when using different ship from locations during checkout. This will insure that shipping cost is calculated correctly.

We are currently developing an update to Pressero that will enable you to assign products to specific shipping origins. This new functionality is designed to address shipping needs for organizations that fulfill orders from multiple locations.
