Test User/Order Mode
Merged
The ability to place test orders without adding them to the order history. I can be difficult to filter out test orders when reviewing reports if not all users use the same method.
Would like additional consideration to have orders marked as "test" based on criteria such as Site test mode, user test mode, product test mode, etc. This would mean that the orders are logged as events but then could be filtered from standard reporting.
Updating to mention that we just had a client use case that we could not accomodate. The client wants to place test orders during QA and then have then not available for reporting.
This is becoming more and more important as we launch more sites and need to pull reporting on order volume and dollar amounts.
Would be great to have the ability to set "Test Mode" at the Site, Category, Product and/or User level. If one of the factors is set to "Test Mode" then the order is tagged as such in the database which can then be filtered when pulling order data whether via Pressero Admin Screens, ReportWriter and/or via API.
When I am first setting up integration, testing a pricing, engine, training or reviewing an order workflow I need to place test orders, but with integrations prices end up in the other system, or as noted they end up in order history. This would be very nice to have especially for training purposes
