DMARC, which stands for “Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance”, is an email authentication, policy, and reporting protocol. It builds on the widely deployed SPF and DKIM protocols, adding linkage to the author (“From:”) domain name, published policies for recipient handling of authentication failures, and reporting from receivers to senders, to improve and monitor protection of the domain from fraudulent email.
Currently, Pressero doesn't support the DKIM protocol. For more information please check this page: https://dmarc.org/
We have added the capability to support DMARC on our outgoing mail server. Please open a ticket at support.aleyant.com if you need DMARC enabled for your domain.
We have recently run into an issue with a long-time customer of ours where the emails were failing. Ultimately they simply white-listed our domain, but they weren't happy about having to do so. This was a bank, FYI.
One client has indicated that they must have DMARC support in order for Pressero to work with their email provider (1CA-26D00A13-0B1F). If you are reading this and have a similar situation, please post a comment on this item so our product team knows this is something you need to support Pressero with your email service.
