One product two assets (or more)

When creating a "static" product it could be usefull to be able to attach two or more assets (variants) to one product.

So you could have one product ex. "Envelope", attach US-, GB- ,DE-pdf-files.

The end user could then choose between the three versions from a dropdown when ordering the product and the correct file would be attached to the order.

      Hello,

I am not sure if I am allowed to reply for these. But this idea would be helpful in the backend as well if there is more than one production piece (In printing for example) to one item ordered.. ie a book cover vs text that goes to 2 different machines to produce, it would need 2 different assets.. currently you have to make 2 different asset listings for that.

      Thank you,

Agreed Jim,, also could do with a little furter integration into edoc for the file,, based on the drop down "x" file shows up for custamazaton. I'm flagging this for the eDoc team to further review.

Alternatively, you could create a template and upload your PDFs as graphic assets to select. This would allow your customer to select the appropriate version and preview it before submission.

Still not a terrible idea if you don't want to go the route of creating a separate template.
