Inventory needs updating

The Inventory module need some serious updating. There are so many basic inventory management standards not available. Physical counts, movement of products in a given time period. MTD and YTD sales if items. A report that shows movement of a given product over time periods.

    Inventory Reporting needs a major overhaul. Our clients do not use it for many reasons. And we spend a vast amount of time building reports for each of our clients with daily numbers.

    Most clients can't recognize the inventory by SKUs only. Especially with the large volumes.

    The list is jumbled; it does not have like products together. When you are looking at 400+ SKUs it is very challenging in the current format. And very time-consuming if you are looking at one by one online from client side.

    • The Inventory Report online (https://sitename/inventory.com) needs to be dynamic and not have to be downloaded to work on it (keep the option to download). Needs to be searchable, filterable, and sortable to have choices to group by Category and Subcategories, and even by Product Attributes. Kit Items need the Main product and Kit products grouped together, to keep all sizes, colors, and choices together to be reviewed as a whole. Especially for Apparel products.

    • Inventory needs the following fields at a minimum. in both the admin side and on the client side.
      Product Name
      SKU
      Quantity on Hand (in inventory, not counting pending orders)
      Quantity Available (after current orders ship)
      Pending Order Qty
      Reorder Level
      Desired Level
      Inventory Location
      30 day Average
      90 day Average
      MTD Sales
      YTD Sales
      Photo is nice, but needs to be inline with the data.

    In addition to the above a field additions and dynamic needs. Tie in a system to trigger an Inventory Refill Request automation system. Based on calculations from Quantity on Hand that is below Reorder Level and a recommendation to place an order to get back to the Desired Level. Where the client can reply, Yes please order X amount, No action for now or no please retire SKU.
