Site Groups for Categories

For testing new products on a live site - I would like to set a certain category to only be visible to a certain site group. Ideally, products that are included in this category would only be visible to that specific site group, if they are only part of that category. Then when ready, I would move the products out of the "testing" category and into whatever categories they belong in for the live site.

The products themselves will be connected both to the "testing" and "everyone" site groups. This would make it easier to transition from a testing stage to a live stage without having to edit the site group of each individual product.
