We offer a service where client's can upload images and choose order options to go with their image. Since this product is not attached to an eDoc template when they go to check out the thumbnail preview is the artwork that is associated with the product, not the client's image. It would be nice for the client to see the image they uploaded so that they can make sure they have selected the right file.

We have this item https://aleyant.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PRESSERO-I-198 in the planning phase for making bulk product updates much easier. I can't give any kind of release date because we are still in planning but look for it in 2022. For now you will need to check the checkbox on all products.
We recently changed our products to have the box checked, and it is amazing. And if you go back and look at order history, it populated the image for all the order orders too. Our clients were so excited! Worth the time to update the products for us.
Wait - I see it at the product level, not at the site level. This will require edit/update of every product, on every site to implement. Is there an easy way?
Great to hear this feature is available, but I don't see it on my sites under settings->checkout.

After talking to our developers about this I discovered that this feature has already been developed through Professional Services.
You will see the "Show product preview in cart" selection in the Checkout panel on the sites settings page.
On the checkout and cart page we show the preview of the uploaded file (not the default product image, in case of associated eDoc template, Pressero shows eDoc preview).
It will show the first file uploaded and the first page if it is a PDF.
I'm going to mark this as released but please let me know if the functionality is what you need.

As much as I would love to give everyone a timeline for release on any single feature or even a roadmap for what we would like to happen. We cannot.
But I will tell you this. I'm leading Aleyant in the creation of said roadmap and it's beginning with a search of features that provide the highest value to our subscribers with the least amount of effort to our development team.
This is one such feature.
I can't tell you when anything will be finished but I can give you a great understanding of what we will be taking on first.
That is any item in Aha! that has very high votes. This is our current measurement of value from our subscribers. You can organize the ideas here by popularity and see items in review, value assessment and planning.
If an idea moves into "Planning Phase" it's value has outweighed its effort and will move forward. Any idea that moves to "Future Consideration" has high value but it's effort is beyond what our team can complete and release in a timely manner.

Yes this looks like exactly the overview of how this feature could be implemented.
Do you have a rough idea of timeline on when you might expect this could be coded and the software updated?
We are actively reviewing this item and I wanted to give everyone here an overview of what we can implement in a shorter amount of time.
An image uploaded to the product detail page will replace the default thumbnail image of the product on the cart page, checkout page and save for later page.
If the product has multiple uploads only the first image would be used. Multiple images would not be used.
If eDoc is attached to the product the template image will be used before any product image upload.
Editing of product would update the image that shows on cart, checkout and SFL.

Needed. This has been requested many times in the past as well.
Yes, I want this feature too. So many of my customers not sure they upload the correct file especially when they purchase few items. I think this should be a standard features.
