Allow user uploaded photos/artwork to be availble for all eDoc products during site visit

If a customer has uploaded a photo to place into an eDoc template but then decided to try out another product with their photo it would be a better experience if the user didn't have to re-upload the same photo for each additional product they're testing before committing to a purchase. The photo/artwork could be stored in a temporary session based asset.

I would envision this along with the idea of a personal asset library. When someone uploads an image into a template, there should be an option to save it to their personal image library. I don't know if it is better to have that setting within the template, and invisible to the end-user, or to expose the option to the end-user to make the choice.

I think this is a great idea and can be worked along with the assets . Currently we have our customers upload to the assets so they are visible across all products.

This use case comes up in our organization fairly often.  Many of our subscribers have Real Estate customers, for example.  Real Estate agents commonly print materials with their headshot.  Our legacy eCommerce platform allowed users to upload a photo at the profile-level, and that photo could then easily be pulled into any variable template.

This is correct. Additionally I would like to be able to download and save the picture/logo or temporary asset the customer uploaded so that if they wanted to use it again at a later date or on a different device, it would be available when they log in.

Good Idea. so thinking that if you take a picture that you uploaded and use it for multiple products on your site? similar to filling out one response set (name address, etc) in a template and be able to use it for multiple products?
