Sales Tax Integration Enhancments

We are back looking an Sales Tax and how to handle the liability and get it right when it comes to online sales. Right now Avatax appears to be the only option and even with that there are concerns when it comes to how to identify product types. Example: Apparel is taxed differently in different states such as NO Tax on Apparel in Minnesota but it is taxed in others but currently we have not found that Pressero can provide Avatax with an identifier like a Product Level Tax Code that would note how a single line item is taxed vs. the entire order if there are multiple items on an order such as Promotional items, Print Items and Apparel Items.

If anyone is using Avatax and has found how this can be done in Pressero would you be willing to share your findings?

Are there other solutions such as Tax Jar that currently runs on other platforms that offer a line item tax code allowing for Tax Jar to calculate tax correctly?
