ShipStation Integration Overhaul

The Pressero ShipStation integration does need a bit of updating in order to keep it relevant and competitive with other shopping cart platforms and the integrations that work with them. In the case of ShipStation there are a number of things that need attention. There are multiple ShipStation ideas that incorporate different needs so I am hoping to combine them into on idea to collect what we see as being needed and hopefully what others do as well. Any enhancements to this integration should be a feature rich as possible:

  1. The integration needs to push back Tracking and Cost from ShipStation. The Cost field exists in Pressero in the Shipment where the Tracking # is placed. This is not to estimate shipping but to show Cost vs. Estimated in Pressero Reporting so it can be used to correct issues when Shipping Estimates Under the Cost to ship.

  2. We are finding some breaks in the integration that is not allowing the shipment to be pushed back to Pressero when there are changes made to the shipment in ShipStation. These need to tracked down and corrected to be more reliable.

  3. When using the ShipStation integration with other Integrations both in Pressero and in ShipStation the integration is broken.

    1. If using cXML Pressero integration there were adjustments made to accommodate the order process but that has created an issue with Double orders being added to ShipStation.

    2. When using ShipStation 3PL or DropShipper Add Ons for orders the integration no longer work to push order shipment Status and Tracking back to ShipStation.

These are a few of the top items we have encountered with the ShipStation integration, hoping other can add to this and we might look at getting enough users interested in enhancing this integration to improve all our workflows.
