Since typing tracking numbers can be tedious and challenging to enter, to expedite the process add a Tracking Number field to the Barcode Scanning tool AND have that tracking number automatically update the tracking field on the order.
Scanning the tracking barcode from the shipping label then the order barcode, Pressero would automatically send an email to the client including the tracking information for the shipment. Currently, the barcode tracking has a similar functionality with the notes field so this should not be too much of a challenge. If this could be aligned to the tracking field on the order, this would greatly reduce time and increase accuracy.
It seems that this would be a fairly simple and straightforward addition.
