This would be an auto complete of addresses entered into address fields on the storefront. It would include address forms in profile and any address forms during checkout.
The idea "Zip Code Autocomplete" (https://aleyant.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PRESSERO-I-38) was removed in favor of this item for clarity. As the need is for auto complete of the entire address and not just a zip code. Also, this does not include address validation. Address validation was released previously (https://support.aleyant.com/kb/a3231/ch_-075-address-validation-fedex.aspx)
Although, the implementation of this which may include tools such as Google api and Melissa.com could also act as address validation. But the cost for these tools would be passed down to the subscriber unless we can find an in house / free solution.
We frequently have customers reach out about missing shipping methods thinking there's a problem with the site when really they just typoed their zipcode. Any kind of address validation to help prevent simple mistakes would be very beneficial.
I'm crossing my fingers for an out-of-the-box solution versus a costly add-on, but either way, we're very interested in learning more.
