Make an ordering module / price calculator

Can we have an ordering module that can start and order and create an order number too. This could also act as a pricing calculator.

Once you start an order, then you can move into a new state called uploading. Ordering and uploading can be two different states. Once you start your order, then you upload. Once you start and order, it lives in the order history page with whatever status it is. If yo have to leave the site for a while, you can come back to your order history page and continue.
