See list of all users in a group

When I view a site group, I would like to be able to view a list users in that group.  As it is now, I would have to go through each user individually to see who is in a specific group.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Performance is always on our mind when implementing these featurs and the reason why the filter was added to site users was that it would be more performat to give you the data you needed. We could add site users to the site groups page but many of our subscribers have tens of thousands of users per group and the loading would be an issue.

I agree Jim that we need to do the same filter on the admin groups page. I will add that as an item on our roadmap.

As for now I'm going to consider this item completed as the functionality is there.

Thank you again for all your feedback.

Yes, Pressero only supports up to 5 groups in their Import/Export tool. There is a separate idea to allow including more, but there has been no movement on that idea that I can tell.

I have exported the users in the past and the export did not show me the entire grouping list per user. The users in question were attached to +5 groups and after a certain number it did not include the groups they belong to. it seems there is a limit to the export and what it contains.

Thanks Susanna for jumping in and providing some insight. I did vote for this as well. You can export all users and the groups assigned to each is listed in the export. The export I'm referring to is the gear icon at the upper left of the User admin area. This export has more in it than the Excel icon in the upper right.

One additional note is that the filter is only available for Site Users, and not Admin Users.  There is no way to determine which admin users are in a group without opening each admin user individually.

Okay, that is helpful, but a bit non intuitive, in my opinion. First, I have to click the filter button to reveal what can be filtered. It would be nicer if there was simply a series of drop-downs across the top showing the filter options without having to click a button to see the available options.

I still think that the users should appear in the group page, much like when you view a pricing engine, you get a view of all templates using that pricing engine.

They did recently add functionality in the users list to filter by groups.  That's helped this issue a ton for us.  On the back end, go to User Management -> Site Users, then at the top, click on "Filter" and you can now choose by group.
