We often encounter misunderstandings from customers because the delivery address is always displayed on estimates (online/PDF/template email) regardless of the delivery method selected.
If the method is “Customer Pickup,” the delivery address is always displayed. Some customers therefore believe that delivery is included when this is not the case !
The only workaround we have is to re-encode our manufacturing address into each new organization or contact.
We can no longer afford to spend so much time on this outdated process !
75% of our customers pick up their goods at our address. Imagine that!
Since 2021, I have been pointing out this anomaly to our account manager and now APJM support, and.... still nothing.
A solution needs to be found at the development level.
Either, the delivery address must be related to the selected delivery method. If not (pickup customer), the condition is that the delivery address is not displayed (or the installation address is displayed instead) on estimates (online/PDF/template email).
Either, (more simple but without logic condition) the installation addresses can be selected from the delivery addresses without having to re-enter them for each new customer.
I hope this ticket will be taken into consideration and that it won't be yet another message in a bottle thrown into the sea!
Otherwise, you (printers companies) who are reading this, how do you deal with this?
