When someone types something into a field in an edocbuilder template, it would be nice if it automatically updated the preview. Having to click a button each time to show the changes seems strange and unnecessary. I'm sure there is a reason for it but it looks unpolished and is a little annoying. If there is a reason that someone would want to have to do that, maybe make a toggle to switch between the two.
I can say from experience with other systems that our customers definitely prefer the current functionality. I agree that if there was a change implemented to allow for this to give an option and default to the current setting.
